Using Zoom with AI Talent Pro

AI Talent Pro is recruitment software. With Zoom connected, when you schedule an interview you can choose Zoom as the video meeting: AI Talent Pro creates the meeting in your Zoom account and puts the join link, meeting ID, passcode and any dial-in numbers Zoom provides in the interview invitation.

Adding the app

  1. Sign in to AI Talent Pro at ai-talentpro.com/login. No account yet? Create a company account.
  2. Zoom meetings are added to the interview's calendar event, so first connect a Google or Microsoft mailbox in Settings → Email if you have not already.
  3. On the same page, find the Zoom card.
  4. Click Connect Zoom and sign in to Zoom.
  5. Review the permissions Zoom shows and click Allow.
  6. You return to AI Talent Pro, and the Zoom card shows the account you connected.

AI Talent Pro asks Zoom only for:

  • user:read:user — Confirms which Zoom account you connected (its user ID, account ID and email address).
  • meeting:write:meeting — Creates a Zoom meeting in your account when you schedule an interview with Zoom as the video meeting.
  • meeting:update:meeting — Moves that meeting when you reschedule the interview, while your Zoom account is connected.
  • meeting:delete:meeting — Deletes that meeting when you cancel the interview, while your Zoom account is connected.

Using the app

  1. Open a candidate and click Schedule interview.
  2. Choose the date, time and who to invite.
  3. Under Video meeting, choose Zoom.
  4. Click Schedule (or Schedule and send invitations if you invited people). AI Talent Pro creates the Zoom meeting in your account, and the interview and any invitation include the join link, meeting ID, passcode and any dial-in numbers Zoom provides.
  5. If you reschedule the interview, the Zoom meeting moves to the new time. If you cancel it, the Zoom meeting is deleted. This works while your Zoom account is connected.

Removing the app

You can remove the connection either way:

  • In AI Talent Pro: go to Settings → Email and click Disconnect on the Zoom card.
  • In Zoom: sign in at marketplace.zoom.us, click Manage → Added Apps, find AI Talent Pro and click Remove.

Either way, AI Talent Pro immediately deletes the Zoom tokens, Zoom user ID, Zoom account ID and Zoom email address it stored, stops creating Zoom meetings for you, and no longer moves or deletes meetings it created. Meetings already created stay in your Zoom account until you delete them there, and interview records keep the meeting details. To ask us to erase any other data, email info@ai-talentpro.com.
